FT: Nigeria 2-1 Haiti, Super Falcons Claim Narrow WIN! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Nigeria Women claimed an impressive 2-1 victory against Haiti in a friendly match ahead of World Cup, MySportDab reports.

Asisat Oshoala was on target for the Super Falcons after making her return back to the National team.

First Half Report 

The first half had a lot coming from both Women national team’s who had a lot the offer going forward.

Haiti weren’t too bad doing what they knew how to do best which was holding play and trying to make something from their end.

Nigeria Super Falcons dominated the game as the better of both sides as the match continued between them which also saw more opportunities.

Esther Okorokwo scored the opening goal of the game which came after a stunning freekick which was able to beat the goalkeeper to make it 1-0.

Nigeria ended the first half with a 1-0 lead against Haiti as they both headed inside for the break after 45 minutes of football between them.

Second Half Report 

The second half wasn’t that bad from both sides who did well enough to ensure something was able to happen in the match.

Nigeria kept their lead and did everything possible to add another which didn’t come early despite how close they came to scoring.

Asisat Oshoala made it 2-0 in the 58th minutes after a corner kick which saw the Barcelona player finishing off neatly to increase the scoreline.

Haiti pulled one goal back after an error from the Super Falcons which saw the scoreline turning 2-1 as they carried on with the remaining minutes.

The game was filled with alot of opportunities but nothing could change the scoreline which stay in favor of the Super Falcons who could have conceded.

Nigeria ended the match with a 2-1 victory against Haiti after 90 minutes of football which wasn’t too bad from both teams all through.
