Super Falcons of Nigeria thrash World Cup host New Zealand 0-3 in friendly encounter, MySportDab reports.

Desire Oparanozie scored one of the goals which saw the Falcons showing some class throughout the encounter.

First Half Report 

The first half saw both teams doing a lot of work to make sure they scored a goal in the 45 minutes which was very close.

New Zealand started well doing so much to ensure they dominate play going forward , but they couldn’t get a goal they needed to take the lead.

Nigeria were not bad themselves as they did well enough with Oshoala doing more than enough in trying to create opportunity but nothing really happened.

Onome Ebi scored in the 34th minutes of the game after a cross from a corner which was nodded in by the defender to make it 0-1 as things carried on.

That goal was enough to ensure Nigeria went into the first half break with a 0-1 lead against New Zealand who were also good from their end.

Second Half Report 

The second half was good for both teams who continue from where they stopped in the first 45 minutes which was strong with both teams pushing.

Nigeria doubled their advantage in the 48th minutes of the game which saw Jennifer Echegini finishing off from a clever pass to make it 0-2.

The match continued with New Zealand doing a lot from their end as they pushed forward hoping to make something happen which they had a couple of opportunities but failed.

The Super Falcon had missed a one on one fine first before Desire Oparanozie finished off in the 94th minutes which made the scoreline 0-3.

The match came to an end with the Nigeria Women claiming an amazing 0-3 victory against New Zealand who are the women World Cup host this year.
