Brazil international and legendary Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino has called for his exit from Liverpool, MySportDab reports.

The prolific Brazilian forward has reportedly told Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp that he wants to leave the club.

Roberto Firmino joined Liverpool in 2015 when Jurgen Klopp arrived at Anfield as the club’s new manager from Borussia Dortmund.

He has been an integral part of Jurgen Klopp’s success story at Liverpool winning the Premier and Champions League with the club.

According to Daily Mail, Roberto Firmino will end his Liverpool career at the end of the season when his contract is set to expire as he is not interested in signing a new deal with the club.

Recently, Roberto Firmino has been a peripheral figure in the Liverpool squad, struggling with a series of injuries that has left him sidelined.

Despite Roberto Firmino’s incessant injury scares, Jurgen Klopp had wanted Firminho to stay at Anfield, hoping he will sign a contract extension after the expiration of his current contract.

Roberto Firmino missed out of the 2022 Brazil World Cup squad and is apparently concerned about his cameo appearance in the Liverpool starting lineup.

Before the World Cup, Roberto Firmino scored 9 goals for Liverpool and was in top shape. However, he was not called up for the squad.

After the World Cup, he began to struggle to regain his starting berth at Liverpool and managed just 87 minutes in five games for Liverpool.

Firmino managed just 35 appearances for Liverpool last season suffering from niggling injuries that kept him on the sidelines.

This season, he made his last appearance for Liverpool in November 11 in a Premier League win over Southampton.
