First Half Report

It was an incredible first half for the Blues who showed the determination of making something happen in the encounter against their opponent.

Leeds United held on fine despite the pressure which saw them defending as a team and also pushing forward to make something good happen.

Kai Havertz had his opportunity of making something happen but he couldn’t finish off despite having the option of passing the ball to Joao Felix for a goal.

Chelsea had an opportunity to score but the woodwork denied Joao Felix who could have made the scoreline change in favor of the Blues as the match carried on.

Nothing could materialize out of the match as Leeds United held Chelsea to a 0-0 goalless draw heading into the break after 45 minutes played between them.

Second Half Report

The second half was also another one but this time both teams did put in so much with a lot happening between them for the remaining 45 minutes.

Chelsea took off where they left off in the first half as they were able to manage more of the ball looking to cause problems and also hit the back of the net which didn’t happen.

Leeds United conceded in the 53rd minutes of the match through a goal from Wesley Fofana who was able to head the ball inside the net to make it 1-0 for the Blues.

The game pushed on with the away side almost making a comeback which didn’t come to reality as the ball couldn’t beat the goalkeeper.

Chelsea claimed a 1-0 victory against Leeds United which wasn’t an easy one after going so many games without getting any victory from their end.
