Arsenal have defeated Bournemouth 3-2 with a dramatic late comeback win to regain their five point lead on top of the Premier League table, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

It was a shock start for the Premier League leaders as the referee set the match rolling.

In the first minute of the first half, a rickety defending by the Gunners saw Bournemouth take a surprise lead.

Billing volleyed in a cool finish after a cross into the box to give the relegation-bound team a shock lead.

Arsenal immediately ramped up attempts to find an equaliser with Bournemouth retreating back into the defense.

Going forward, the game was played mostly in Bournemouth’ half with all 10 Bournemouth packed in their own half trying to defend against the home side.

Bukayo Saka tried to break through from the right flank to create a chance without success.

Bournemouth held on to the lead stationing at their back to defend the goal while waiting to catch the Gunners on the counter.

The first half ended with Arsenal unable to break the goal deadlock as Bournemouth took the narrow 0-1 lead in the break.

Second Half Report

It was still a difficult game for Bournemouth as the second half kicked off.

Arsenal left no stone unturned in heaping pressure heavily on the visitors trying to eke out a goal.

The Premier League leaders needed to secure a win to return to their five point lead on the table.

Arsenal hopes of a comeback were dashed in the 57th minutes when Senesi nodded home corner kick to make it 0-2 for Bournemouth.

In the 65th minute, Thomas Partey came to Arsenal’s rescue putting one back to make it 1-2.

The Gunners continued to push for an equaliser as they game progressed, continuing to mount pressure on the away side.

Ben White found the equaliser for Arsenal in the 70th minute after an assist by substitute Nelson.

In the 90+8th minute, Nelson scored to turn the game on its head securing a 3-2 win for the Gunners after the final whistle.
