FT: Newcastle 0-2 Liverpool, Cody Gakpo Strike AGAIN! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Liverpool claimed a 0-2 victory away from home against Newcastle United at the St James Park, MySportDab reports.

Cody Gakpo was on target again as his goal helped the Reds claim all three points in the game which saw a red card happen.

First Half Report 

The first half was where all the action took place between both teams who did all in their power to make a case for themselves going forward.

Darwin Nunez scored in the 10th minutes of the game after an amazing pass from Trent Alexander Arnold who was able to send it through to the striker who made it 0-1 for Liverpool.

Things didn’t look good for Newcastle United who were not up to the task at hand as the game carried on with Cody Gakpo making it 0-2 in the 17th minutes of the game.

Nick Pope was shown a red card in the 22nd minutes of the game which made matters worst for the home side who were already down.

The first half came to an end with Liverpool taking a 0-2 lead into the break as Newcastle United couldn’t make anything happen from their end going forward.

Second Half Report 

The second half was good coming from both teams who did a lot in their defending but couldn’t score any goal in the encounter.

Liverpool kept everything in their control as the match carried on with them also having a one man advantage that counted so much for the entire half.

Newcastle United were not that bad despite having to play the remainder of the game with a struggle of missing one player in the team which was a fight.

The match came to an end with Liverpool claiming all three points from a 0-2 victory against Newcastle United which pushes them up in the table.
