Chelsea suffered another Premier League defeat as Southampton sank them 0-1, MySportDab reports.

The Blues were unable to make anything happen once again despite everything done in the encounter all through the 90 minutes.

First Half Report

Both sides had their opportunities to make something happen going forward but only one of them could only make it work for themselves.

Chelsea had more of the ball control which was an amazing one for them knowing they needed it to ensure everything was in the power pushing forward.

Southampton did a lot of good work making sure they kept the home side silent as the likes of David Fofana and Mason Mount were both playing free roles on the other side.

The Blues were perfect until a freekick was awarded which saw James Ward-Prowes making it hit the target beating Kepa Arrizabalaga in the 45th minute plus added time to make it 0-1.

That goal was the last action that ended the first half with Chelsea behind 0-1 against Southampton who was doing well enough to keep things going for them.

Second Half Report

The second half wasn’t too bad as they both came in the early stages trying to make sure they get a good one going after the first 45 minutes.

Chelsea was more eager to make something happen as they knew everything was on their end to ensure they scored a leveler as the game carried on.

Southampton grew more confident in the match as they push on keeping their lead from going down against the Blues who were so poor with their dealings.

Cesar Azpilicueta was hit in the head which saw the match being stopped at a point as treatment was given to him by the medical team.

Nothing else was able to happen in the match as it ended with Southampton beating Chelsea 0-1 after 90 minutes of football played.
