Manchester United advance into the next round of the Europa League after beating Barcelona 2-1, MySportDab reports.
Antony goal was the magic which seals the victory in aggregate which ended 4-3 in favor of the home team after 90 minutes.
First Half ReportÂ
The first half of the second leg was amazing coming from both teams who did more than enough going forward.
Manchester United started the match with more advantage knowing they were at Old Trafford after their impressive outing at New Camp.
Barcelona took the lead in the 18th minutes thanks to Robert Lewandowski who scored from the penalty spot to make it 0-1 as they continued.
The game was close with both teams doing more than enough in terms of going forward but couldn’t make anything good come to reality between themselves.
The first half of the match came to an end with Barcelona taking a 0-1 advantage against Manchester United who couldn’t make anything happen.
Second Half ReportÂ
The second half was good for the Old Trafford faithfuls who were able to capitalized on their opportunities much better.
Barcelona continued with controlling the match knowing they needed to carry on and save their lead which put them ahead at a point.
Fred scored in the 47th minutes of the match which saw Manchester United coming back level 1-1 as they both carried on forward.
The game soon turned against the visitors which saw Antony scored in the 73rd minutes of the match which made it 2-1 as the home side regained dominance.
The game carried on between the both of them as they had a lot to play for in making sure they book their ticket into the next round.
Manchester United claimed the much needed victory 2-1 against Barcelona with the game ended 4-3 on aggregate between them after 90 minutes played between them.
