Chelsea have put an end to contract talks with Mason Mount who is one of their key players, MySportDab reports.
The player is nearing the end of his contract which seems to be just months away and could fall under free agency.
Chelsea and Mason Mount representatives have been holding talks for a long time with no result coming out if it between them.
Those at Chelsea believes they won’t be able to reach an agreement which they had to put an end to everything happening.
It was claimed that several offers were turned down by the player and his representatives who did not see the offer as good enough.
The club have made a couple of new signing in the January window, but things haven’t changed in terms of result as they continue to struggle.
This have made the club decide on their next attention for now which is getting the team to play well and produced result as quickly as possible.
According to reports from David Ornstein, he confirmed Chelsea have end all talks concerning extending Mason Mount contract.

“Chelsea presented several offers last summer + autumn but rejected by midfielder.
Chelsea are still hoping they can reach an agreement to extend the player contract which is expected to be a six years deal.
The likes of Real Madrid and other Premier League club have been monitoring the situation which they except to make their move in summer.
Chelsea are also said to be open to return to any talks in the summer window which there is still enough time to reach an agreement to keep him from leaving the club.
