The English Premier League has announced the list of nominees for player of the month for December, MySportDab report.
Erling Haaland lead the way once again with the nominees for player of the month with his outstanding performance in December.
The Manchester City striker is now having to face competition from other players who are running to claim the award thanks to their performance for the last month of 2022.
Arsenal and Manchester United are the only side to produce two players each to compete for the player of the month for December.
The month award is a combination of both November and December due to the FIFA World Cup which caused a break in between the Premier League season.

The players who have made it into the list all have an outstanding contribution to the success of their respective teams for the Month of November and December.
A total of eight players have been shortlisted for the award and one winner will be picked amongst all of them in the coming week.

Kieren Trippier
Manchester United who has gone for five games winning streak has the likes of Casemiro and Marcus Rashford making the list.
Both players have had a hand in the goals and assist for the Old Trafford club run which has earned them a spot on the nominee’s list.
Erling Haaland for Manchester City and also Arsenal have the likes of Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard.
Other players on the list are from various team’s like Fulham, Brentford and Newcastle United.
