Liverpool settled for a disappointing 2-2 draw with Wolves at Anfield in the first leg forcing a replay at the Molineux Stadium.
The Reds were nearly knocked out of the competition with a last minute Wolves strike that was denied by VAR.
Coming to Molineux Stadium for a replay, Liverpool put on an incredible performance against Wolves, dominating play and forcing the game on the host from the start.
It was not long before the Reds swung into a deserve lead after a dominant display.
The highpoint of the game was Harvey Elliot’s incredible thunderbolt strike from outside the box which gave Liverpool the lead.
The English footballer picked up the ball from his own half and took a long solo run into into Wolves’ half.
It was thought he will send a throughball to his teammate who had opened up in the left flang but Harvey Elliot choose to go for the goal.
Wolves goalkeeper Sa had come out from his goal line, and Elliot fired a long ranger over him to put the visitors in control.
Sa stretched his full length to try and point the ball away, but the English star had perfectly outsmart him having the ball fly pass him into the net.
It was a great and incredible strike which was enough to give Liverpool the needed win against Wolves.
Wolves failed to pull a comeback after the goal as Liverpool hold on to the narrow win to qualify to the fourth round of the FA Cup.
