Al Hilal rival Al Nassr have hijacked the move to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, MySportDab reports.

Christian Ronaldo is now an accidental free agent after he agreed to a mutual termination of his contract with Manchester United.

Ronaldo’s Manchester United face-off reached sore points when he granted a controversial interview with Piers Morgan.

His contract was immediately terminated following the interview, leaving him without a club for the first time in his career.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia club Al Hilal was reportedly interested in signing Cristiano Ronaldo after his fall out with Manchester United.

However, the proposed deal has been hijacked by a league rival Al Nassr.

According to CBS, Al Nassr is offering Cristiano Ronaldo a whopping six years contract worth £62million.

A further breakdown of the deal shows that Cristiano Ronaldo will earn a whooping £1.2million weekly from the deal, which measures to £170,000 daily.

If the deal goes through, this will be Cristiano Ronaldo’s highest wage cap since he started his career.

According to reports, Al Nassr has met with Cristiano Ronaldo’s representatives, and talks between the two parties are in “advanced stages.”

Al Nassr is said to be one of the most successful clubs in the Saudi Arabian league.

If the deal goes through, they will overtake their rival – another top side – Al Hilal, who also indicated an interest in Cristiano Ronaldo.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo is currently focused on the World Cup with Portugal. He has intentionally muted discussions on his future after the World Cup.

Ronaldo scored his 118th international goal for Portugal and is the team’s all-time top-scorer.
