Manchester United advance into the next round of the Carabao Cup beating Aston Villa 4-2, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first half was filled with so much coming from both teams who did well enough going forward and making something happen.

Manchester United started well but unfortunately couldn’t make anything count in the game which saw them doing so much from their end.

Aston Villa also had their moments but didn’t make anything good happen between them for the game which carried on goalless.

The first half ended with Manchester United 0-0 Aston Villa after 45 minutes of football played between them for the night at Old Trafford.

Second Half Report

The goals flooded in the second half which saw both teams doing everything they need to do as Ollie Watkins scored the opener in the 48th minute to make it 0-1.

Manchester United levels things in the 49th minute with Anthony Martial who made it 1-1 from a wonderful finish which opened the door wide for more goals.

Another one in the 61st minutes from Diogo Dalot made it 1-2 for the visitors as the Portuguese defender scored an own goal against his team.

A 67th minutes goal from Marcus Rashford made it 2-2 against Aston Villa who couldn’t stop the goal from going inside the net.

Another goal came again for the home side in the 78th minute from Bruno Fernandes who made it 3-2 for his side who didn’t rest after they leveled things.

Scott McTominay with a 90th minute plus added time goal ensured the scoreline increased to 4-2 as it progressed between them for the night.

Nothing else happened as the game ended with Manchester United beating Aston Villa 4-2 to advance into the next round of the EFL Carabao Cup which is also a revenge after losing 3-1 in the league.
