James had to hobble off the pitch, with Graham Potter substituting him in the game.

As things stand, the risks are high for Reece James as the 2022 World Cup looms on the horizon.

The World Cup will start on November 26, and Reece James is one of Gareth Southgate’s choice left-back for the Three Lions Squad.

Meanwhile, Reece James took to his Twitter account to immediately revealed the injury situation.

Reece James wrote, “fingers crossed. It is not a bad one. I love all the messages. I appreciate you all.”

James added a green love emoji to wrap up his message after the injury.

As he said that he is keeping his fingers crossed, the extent of Reece James’ injury is yet to be ascertained.

Graham Potter and Gareth Southgate hope for good news after confirming the injury situation.

Former Premier League icon Joe Cole has given a somewhat scary situation prediction.

According to him, Reece James landed awkwardly, and huge damage can be reported after 24/48 hours.

Chelsea completed a spectacular double against AC Milan, getting all three points at Stamford Bridge and the San Siro.

Graham Potter is now top of his Champions League group with 7 points from four matches.
