Jurgen Klopp Take Legal Action Against Man City Over Xenophobic Claims

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has taken on legal action against Manchester City’s claims of xenophobic attack, MySportDab reports.

Jurgen Klopp has backed down on his claims of not carrying out any xenophobic attack on Manchester City which now has him taking legal action against them.

The German is also said to be facing serious ban from the Premier League following his behavior against Manchester City during their weekend clash.

Prior to the kickoff of the game which involved both teams, the Liverpool manager had made a statement saying his side can’t compete financially with Pep’s team.

He went on saying only clubs like Newcastle United, Paris Saint Germain and Manchester City could what they want to spend in the market.

The game was between both teams later on that Sunday was filled with a lot of controversies which many claims were made.

Pep Guardiola also claimed that the Liverpool fans threw coins at him which was in reference to the statements Klopp did make before the game.

They also claimed that some offensive songs were being heard by the Reds fans who continued signing about the Hillsborough and Heysel disasters.

Police investigation are still going on as Manchester City have suggested that Klopp’s viewpoint was ‘borderline xenophobic’.

“I don’t feel, in this specific case, I don’t feel it at all.

“I know myself. And you cannot hit with something which is miles away from my personality.

“If I was – I cannot remember the word – like this I would hate it. I would hate myself for being like this.

Reports coming from the Athletic confirmed Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp have now taken legal action against the claims of Manchester City.

The case is still open and the Liverpool manager is also facing a risk of being banned by the English FA over his conduct during the match.
