Marcus Rashford scored a brace as Manchester United came from behind to beat Omonia Nicosia 2-3 in the Europa League game, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The English Premier League side were shockingly poor in all their dealings which saw them making some early errors but were lucky to have escaped them all.
Manchester United were the better of both teams as they did everything looking to make a good start which didn’t work out for them as their opponent were well organized at the back.
Omonia Nicosia came into the game prepared with the home advantage on their side and they didn’t disappoint in making sure they were well organized on the pitch with everything going on.
Karim Ansarifard gave the home side the lead in the 34th minute after an error saw them break on a counter which resulted in them finishing off to make it 1-0 as it carried on.
The goal was the only action which brought light to the first half that did carried on and came to an end with Omonia Nicosia taking a 1-0 lead into the break against Manchester United.
Second Half Report
The second half was a better one at the beginning which saw the Premier League side coming into the 45 minutes with more hunger to make something happen.
Marcus Rashford wonder full finish in the 52nd minute of game after just coming into the match saw him level things 1-1 for Manchester United who were looking better as it continued.
Anthony Martial put his side ahead in the 63rd minute of the game thanks to a wonderful finish from the Frenchman made it 1-2 against Anthony Martial who couldn’t stop the goal.
Marcus Rashford scored his brace in the 84th minute of the game with assist coming from Cristiano Ronaldo which saw them make it 1-3.
The home side pulled one goal back in the 85th minute of the match which came from Panagiotou to make it a 2-3 scoreline.
The encounter ended with Manchester United sealing all three points after a 2-3 comeback which saw them defeat Omonia Nicosia away from Old Trafford.
