The English Premier League have official made their decision concerning the postponement of weekend games due to Queen Elizabeth II death, MySportDab reports.

More information will be made available as to if the postponement will affect other match days that is upcoming.

The Premier League will also have to fix another date for the games which could likely be during the midweek.

For now the English Premier League and followed the Irish League to call off all matches that are expected to hold this weekend.

Queen Elizabeth II passed away yesterday afternoon at the age of 96 years old.

She is the longest serving ruler of the British countries for so many years before her passing away yesterday.

Her death marked the end of an era as a new leader has already been appointed in King Charles.
