A Manchester United fan today asked Manchester City Striker Erling Haaland to leave the club and join the Red Devils instead, MySportDab reports.
Haaland was spotted today walking down Chapel Street in Greater Manchester.
The Norwegian joined Manchester City in the summer from Borussia Dortmund and has impressed so far in the Premier League.
Today, he met a Manchester United with a shocking demand and did not hold back.
A video of the incident has now gone viral on social media as Haaland responded to the fan’s request to leave Manchester City.
The fan said: ‘You’re on the wrong side of Manchester.’
He added: ‘Join us next season United, well, see you in a bit Haaland.’
Immediately, Haaland responded: ‘Everyone loves me here.’
His response was just as expected given his comfortable start to life under Pep Guardiola.
The fan wanted Haaland to join Manchester United when they met today.
However, Manchester United lost their first Europa League match game against Real Sociedad.
The Red Devils are now on a good run of form in the Premier League, winning their last four matches before the Europa League game.
Meanwhile, Manchester City have performed better and are currently 2nd on the Premier League table.
Haaland has already scored 12 goals in his seven matches across all competitions this season.
He scored two more goals in the 4-0 Champions League win against Sevilla on Tuesday.
