OFFICIAL! Super Eagles Of Nigeria Announce Squad For Friendly Match

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have announce their squad ahead on their friendly match, MySportDab reports.

Nigeria will be playing against Algeria in the September international window which they have announced the squad that will be taking part in the game.

Jose Peseiro will be hoping to continue his building of the Nigeria national team following their double disappointment.

The Super Eagles filed to qualify for the FIFA World Cup which is happening this year 2022 in November.

They also crashed out of the AFCON despite winning all their games in the group stages of the tournament.

It hasn’t been that easy as they are now in a process of rebuilding for the future under new head coach Jose Peseiro from Portugal.

Nigeria will be taking on Algeria this month and the official team list have been made available by the coach.

Wilfred Ndidi finally makes his way back into the team after a long battle with injury which made him lost so much playing time club and country.

Kelechi Iheanacho is also on the list as Maduka Okoye makes a comeback following his decision to step back from the team.

Victor Osimhen is currently nursing an injury which wont be seeing him take part alongside Sodiq Umar who both have been on good form.

Defenders

William Troost Ekong, Leon Balogun, Ola Aina, Calvin Bassey, Chidioze Awaziem, Kenneth Omeruo, Zaidu Sanusi, Kevin Akpoguma.

Midfielders

Raphael Onyedika, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, Frank Onyeka.

Strikers

Taiwo Awoniyi, Ahmed Musa, Moses Simon, Samuel Chukwueze, Terem Moffi, Ademola Lookman, Kelechi Iheanacho, Cyril Desser, Henry Onyekuru, Chidera Ejuke.

The team will open camp soon as they will be getting prepared to play the game against Algeria on the 27th of September 2022 which is the date fixed.
