Kevin De Bruyne and Michy Batshuayi scored and assist as Belgium beat Wales 2-1 in the UEFA Nations League, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The home side was dominant throughout the 45 minutes, which saw them doing so well in everything as they moved forward in numbers.
Belgium had to wait for 11 minutes before scoring the match’s opening goal, which came from Kevin De Bruyne with an assist from Michy Batshuayi to make it 1-0.
Wales weren’t too good enough to keep their defense on point as the pressure was too much for them to contain as more opportunities kept on coming from both ends.
Michy Batshuayi made it 2-0 in the 38th minute of the encounter after a fantastic delivery from Manchester City Kevin De Bruyne, which saw him finishing off neatly for the second goal.
Nothing else came through as the first half of the match ended with Belgium taking a clean 2-0 advantage into the break after 45 minutes of football played between them.
Second Half Report
The second half was more different from how the first 45 minutes played out, with both teams getting a fair share of the ball; just one side did better than the other.
Wales pulled one goal back in the 50th minute through a stunning goal which came from Kieffer Moore as the scoreline changed to 2-1, which made things open up more between them.
Belgium weren’t that bothered about the goal they concede as they pushed forward to see if something could happen for them to restore their two goal lead.
Nothing else happen in the game which was approaching the final few minutes of normal time to be played between them.
The encounter came to an end with Belgium making sure they grabbed all three points by beating Wales 2-1 after 90 minutes of football played.
