Chelsea have now entered the race to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, MySportDab reports.

Bellingham is Europe’s hottest player right now and is set to have many top clubs trying to sign him next summer.

The 19-year-old has attracted interest from Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid with his performances in the Bundesliga and for England.

His market value will continue to rise as he’s expected to play for England at this year’s World Cup.

Borussia Dortmund currently value Bellingham at £130m, and they will be ready to sell.

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea have a big challenge in their plans to sign the player as both Liverpool and Real Madrid are ahead in the pecking order.

Chelsea spent over £270m last summer but are now behind in the race to bring Bellingham to the English Premier League.

The club failed to land any priority midfield targets in the most recent window as Edson Alvarez did not leave Ajax and PSV refused to sell Ibrahim Sangare.

Midfield is now a priority area for Todd Boehly’s Clearlake Capital ownership during the next window.

Liverpool Coach Jurgen Klopp also wants the Reds to do everything possible to sign Bellingham next summer despite trying this summer.

However, Real Madrid have been monitoring the player since 2019 and made contact with his agent in 2022.

Manchester United have also expressed interest in the youngster and came close to signing him back in March 2020.

Also, Bellingham could be available for only £83million next year but Dortmund could ask for the fee upfront with no add ons.
