Erik Ten Hag has now sent a clear warning to Manchester United players ahead of the match against Liverpool, MySportDab reports.

Ten Hag spoke today in a press conference and answered questions from reports.

The Dutchman has now said that his footballing philosophy won’t show at Manchester United until the players show the ‘right attitude’ on the pitch.

United are desperate for points ahead of Monday’s game against Liverpool in the Premier League.

The Red Devil’s have already lost their first two Premier League matches of the new season and can’t afford another slip up.

Ten Hag’s tenure as head coach started with a 2-1 loss against Brighton and then a 4-0 thrashing from Brentford last week.

The former Ajax Coach now wants a more spirited display from his team when Liverpool visit Old Trafford on Monday.

‘I think It’s very clear that I am not happy,’ he said on Friday.

‘In football you discuss philosophy but you need the right attitude and I have not yet seen that at the club.

‘You must bring the right attitude for every game, especially on Monday.’

When asked about the progress this week, Ten Hag said: ‘It’s a week normal for any manager when you have a game, you must work on a plan and then analyse.

‘Obviously, things have not gone the way we want but we can’t talk about anything when the attitude is bad.

‘Some of the criticism we have received are good advice and others are not good.’

He added: ‘We work on each game. Now it’s Liverpool and obviously we know how it is when you play against Liverpool. You have to fight and always be ready.

‘You must fine a way to motivate yourself. From the start season we worked well.’
