Ajax manager have blasted Manchester United over their move for Antony as he tagged them not a Champions League team, MySportDab reports.
Manchester United are currently doing everything possible to sign Ajax Antony who is a key player for the Netherlands clubside who are not looking to see any move happen.
The Premier League side were said to have given up on signing the attacker who they see his transfer fee as too high for a player of his quality.
The way things are going, it has made Manchester United go desperate and are now looking to pay any amount just to bring in Antony by any means possible this summer.
Ajax manager Schreuder seems to be aiming at the Premier League side in his recent comments concerning the approach from the English.
Manchester United narrowly made it through to Europa League following their poor performance last season which wasn’t too good.
They narrowly avoid having to finish in the Conference League position thanks to them overpowering West Ham United with just little difference on the table.
This season haven’t gone their way either as they occupy the number 20th position on the Premier League table having lost two games already.
Ajax manager have aimed a dig at their performance according to reports reaching us from Fabrizio Romano.
Here Is What He Said:
Ajax manager Schreuder: “Yes, my feeling is positive on Antony deal.
“I ,under, stand Antony, but… here you play for Ajax”, tells @ESPNNL.
“We are playing Champions League football.
“I don’t think Manchester United are playing Champions League football…” @TheEuropeanLad.
Ajax are hoping they can keep their player as Manchester United might be seeing their chances of making the move happen go to waste.
Antony is their main target but the fans are awaiting the official unveiling of Casemiro, who already completed an agreement to move to Old Trafford.
