Antony has now arrived at Manchester United’s Carrington training centre for his medical to join the club, MySportDab reports.
The Brazilian will complete an £84m transfer from Ajax to Old Trafford within the next few days.
When the transfer is done, Antony will reunite with former Ajax Coach Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.
The 22-year-old won a gold medal with Brazil at the Olympics in Tokyo 2021.
He also won two Eredivisie titles during his time in the Eredivisie with Ajax.
Ajax first rejected three bids for the 22-year-old Brazilian, but finally accepted after Manchester United increased their bid.
However, Antony had made it clear that he wanted to leave the Johan Cruyff Arena by refusing to attend training and matches.
He was seen smiling to a pose around the Carrington complex to show his joy.
Carrington has been United’s Training Centre in Greater Manchester since 2000.
The club improved the facility with a medical department and sports science department in 2013.
Antony scored 18 goals in two years at Ajax across all competitions.
During his time at Ajax, Ten Hag worked closely with Antony, and the pair have a great relationship.
The new signing is expected to be unveiled today by Manchester United but won’t play a part in their next game on Thursday.
