Barcelona have defeated arch-rivals Real Madrid 1-0 in their pre-season club friendly as new signing Raphinha scored for the Catalans, MySportDab reports.

The second half started with Real coming with more effort as they aimed for an equaliser.

The Catalans also relied on counterattacks when the chance surfaced but was unable to double their lead.
The match ended with Barcelona running away with the 1-0 win after the final whistle.
