Nottingham Forest have officially unveil new signing Jesse Lingard, MySportDab reports.
Jesse Lingard completes the move as a free agent from the transfer market after failing to extend with Manchester United.
The forward had many offers on the table which included West Ham United who wanted him back to their team.
The England International did spend some time with the Hammers on loan which was impressive, but unfortunately he decided on going back to Manchester United.
He signed a new deal at Old Trafford which was fruitful with him unable to get more playing time despite all the assurance given to him.
Jesse Lingard is now a new player with Nottingham Forest football club who completed a move as a free agent.
Forest is a boyhood club for Lingard who have spent all most of his career with Manchester United making 230 appearances.
The former United player put pen to paper on a one year contract which will run until end of the 2022-23 season.
Nottingham Forest beat competition from West Ham United and other clubs who weren’t making a good offer to the English player.
The deal was sealed few days ago as medical was completed yesterday and the newly promoted Premier League side have made everything official.
Jesse Lingard is Nottingham Forest eleventh signing this summer window as the game are going on a spending spree.
They made an official announcement via their official website unveiling the newly signed player.
They also broke the bank to sign Taiwo Awoniyi from Union Berlin making him the biggest deal they have ever made happen.
The club have also made other top signings this summer which they also completed a loan move for Manchester United Dean Henderson.
Wayne Hennessey is also another goalkeeper who joined the Premier League side this summer window.
Jesse Lingard is the newest addition and so far their biggest signing this summer transfer window.
