Chelsea have now officially confirmed the signing of Raheem Sterling from Manchester City today, MySportDab reports.
Raheem Sterling has now completed his transfer from Manchester City to Chelsea.
This is Todd Boehly’s first signing since taking over at Chelsea this summer.
The 27-year-old England star has signed for the Blues in a deal worth £50million.
Sterling has signed a five-year contract worth over £300,000 per week to join Chelsea.
The Blues also have an option to extend the contract by another year as he becomes one of the Premier League’s top three earners.
He will now set to undergo a medical in Los Angeles on Thursday before going his new teammates.
In a statement Sterling said: ‘Firstly, it’s a pleasure to be here.
‘I’ve achieved so much in my career so far, but there is still so much to be done and I’m looking forward to being in a Chelsea shirt, under Thomas Tuchel.
‘London will always be my home and it is where everything started for me, and now i have the opportunity to play week in, week out at Stamford Bridge.
‘I also want to to thank Todd, Behdad, the ownership group, Thomas, and everyone that made me come here.
‘I can’t wait to get going and continue start working immediately on the pitch.’

Sterling leaves Manchester City as their second top scorer across all competitions with 339 matches played.
