Former Arsenal and Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie has sent a strong message to new Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag, MySportDab reports

The former Arsenal and United legend explain why he rejected a new role at Manchester United and also cautions Ten Hag.

Ten Hag emerged as new United manager and has been saddled with a huge task of restoring United back to where the team belongs.

United have had an extremely poor Premier League Campaign this season finishing 6th on the log without Champions League football next season.

Meanwhile, some top players have began to exit the team as Erik Ten Hag begins an overhaul of the Red Devils squad.

The Former Ajax manager is set to restructure the United squad ahead of next season. The likes of Pogba, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard and Edinson are on their way out.

More players are expected to join the exodus as Ten Hag takes over the reins at Old Trafford and ready to adopt the Ajax style football pattern.

Fellow Netherland’s international and former United attacker Robin Van Persie have sents a message of caution to Ten Hag as he assume his coaching duties at Old Trafford.

Van Persie who turned down a coaching assistant role at Old Trafford from Erik Ten Hag advised the new manager that United is the best club for the new coach.

He also told him of how welcoming and hospitable the English football community including his prospective success with the of the best team in the world.

Van Persie is currently playing a coaching role at Feyernood’s youth team where his 10-year-old son is also playing and had turned down a proposal from Ten Hag to be his assistant coach.
