Victor Osimhen scored four goals as Nigeria thrashed Sao Tome 0-10 in their AFCON qualifiers, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was filled with loads of goals being scored by the away side who took control of everything going forward and attacking.
Nigeria scored the opening goal in the 9th minute through Victor Osimhen who made the scoreline 0-1 as it carried on going forward.
Sao Tome was poor and no good to anything as things get going forward with more opportunities but nothing happening from their end.
It was turned 0-2 in the 28th minute through Moses Simon who forced the ball to hit the back of the net as things increased further for them.
The goal kept coming as Terem Moffi scored in the 43rd minute of the encounter to make things 0-3 as it was going down to the final stages.
The first half ended with Sao Tome 0-3 Nigeria as they headed inside for the break after 45 minutes of football players between them going forward.
Second Half Report
The second half was more delightful as Victor Osimhen got things going by scoring his brace in the 48th minute to make it 0-4.
Nigeria was running riot as Etebo scored an outstanding free-kick which saw things turn 0-5 in the 55th minute of the encounter.
It was looking good with Sao Tome not giving up as it was then increased to 0-6 in the 60th minute from Terem Moffi who made it his brace for the game.
More coming from the Super Eagles as Ademola Lookman scored in the 63rd minute which saw things go further to 0-7 as it was looking perfect.
Another one again from Victor Osimhen in the 68th minute making it his hattrick for the afternoon after another goal yet again for the Napoli man to make it 0-8.
It was then 0-9 in the 84th minute of the encounter which was scored this time by Victor Osimhen again as that made it his fourth for the game.
It was going down in the final few minutes as Emmanuel Dennis scored from the penalty spot in the 90th minute plus added time to make it 0-10.
That was how the match ended with Sao Tome 0-10 Nigeria after 90 minutes of football which saw the Super Eagles setting another record win.
