Szoboszlai goal was enough as England suffer 1-0 defeat against Hungary in UEFA nations league, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was evenly balance with no goal being scored by both countries who did well enough defending.
England started well against their opposition in the early stages which saw opportunities created but nothing happened.
Hungary had some of the their but also couldn’t put it to good use as it felt like the game wasn’t looking open enough to get a clean strike.
They approached the half hour of the game with nothing still to show for all their efforts put in together to make something happen.
Things didn’t change despite everything done by players on the pitch to make sure they make things happen for themselves.
It wasn’t meant to be as the game ended in the first half with Italy 0-0 Hungary which saw them heading for the break goalless.
Second Half Report
The second half was more of the same but just a silly mistake cost one side conceding a goal.
It was looking well for Hungary who had everything figured out with more opportunities coming from them as they wanted to make something happen.
England made good of their defending as the Match continued looking fine with more tactical work which Gareth Southgate applied.
Things went wrong as a foul saw the home side being awarded a penalty which could have easily been avoided by the three lions.
Szoboszlai stepped up and made sure the opportunity was put to good use with the scoreline turned 1-0 in the 66th minute.
That goal was enough as the match continued with more pressure being applied by the away side but nothing worked out for them going forward.
The match ended with Hungary 1-0 England which saw the home side getting their revenge on the side who thrashed them last year.
