The midfielder has called it to quit with Manchester United where has played in the last few years of his career after returning from Juventus.
He is set to leave Old Trafford once again as a free agent having spent the duration of his career with the club where he started his football dreams.
Things haven’t worked out since the final two years of his contract which has been flooding with many controversies surrounding his career.
He was earlier said to be interested in leaving Manchester United but was forced to stay while trying to offer him a new deal which was turned down.
It was claimed that they went as far as offering him €400k weekly wages to extend his contract, but it still wasn’t good enough to keep him.
The just-concluded season was the final decision maker as the fans turned against him before his last game for the club.
