Inter Milan and Croatian forward Ivan Perisic may likely join Tottenham as all is set for the deal to go through, MySportDab reports.

The 33-year-old Croatian international has been on the radar of former Juventus and Tottenham manager Antonio Conte.

MySportDab learns that the former Wolfsburg player may likely complete his medical with Tottenham next week.

He had reportedly agreed on a two-year contract with Tottenham and was awaiting a communication between Tottenham and Inter Milan to the effect of the deal.

News just coming has it that the English side has officially communicated the purported deal with Inter Milan, and the Croatian may likely join the in a matter of weeks.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan have been pursuing the deal tons sign former Manchester United and Dortmund playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

This may not to be unconnected the expected exit of Ivan Perisic from the Italian giants with Conte’s Tottenham strongly interested in the player.

Perisic joined Inter Milan on a five-year contract in August 2015 in a deal worth €16 million stating that the Italian club was a big side and he could not turn down the deal.

 

His first goal for Inter came in the team’s 2-2 draw at Turin with Parmawith he first Champions League goal coming in Inter’s 2-3 defeat to Real Madrid.

Antonio Conte praised the Croatian for his ability to quickly adapt to his tactics at Inter Milan and was hitting the nets for the team.

The 33-year-old resourcefulness in Inter was once again brought to bear when Inter Milan played Juventus in 2022 Coppa Itallia Final.

After regulation time the game ended in a 2-2 draw but Ivan Perisic’s extra time brace made it four 4-2 for Inter Milan as the emerge winners of the 2022 Coppa Italia.

It is believed that Antonio Conte is the one behind Tottenham’s push to sign the Croatian forward.
