Goals from Ansu Fati and Jordi Alba saw Barcelona beat Real Betis 1-2, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was a brilliant start of the weekend fixtures which kicked off with both teams starting well going forward.
It was a good beginning from Real Betis who had one thing setup is to make sure they defend well and try to pull a counter attack.
Barcelona were also in the same mindset as they were cautious making sure they don’t concede any goal knowing that would mean more harm to them.
There were so many opportunities coming through but nothing could happen from both ends as it continues onward.
So much happened but it wasn’t enough to change the encounter which continued with the same goalless affair with few minutes left for the half.
The first half ended with Real Betis 0-0 Barcelona as they both headed for the break settling for a goalless 45 minutes.
Second Half Report
The two teams came into the second half eager to make something happen as they continued pushing forward.
Barcelona had to wait until the 76th minute of the second half before they set to ball rolling inside the net of their opponent.
The goal came through Ansu Fati who was assisted by Jordi Alba as the scoreline turned 0-1 in favor of the away team.
Real Betis continued with their solid performance despite going down as they were hoping to get something of their own to happen.
The home side finally made it happen in the 79th minute from a goal scored by Marc Bartra which made things level 1-1.
Nothing happened as they approached the final few stages fighting to make something come through which could have given them the advantage.
Jordi Alba was the hero as he scored in the 90th minute plus additional time which saw them taking a 1-2 very late in the encounter.
The match ended with Real Betis 1-2 Barcelona after 90 minutes of football which gave the away side all three points in the clash.
