Ten Hag’s pattern of football which he is set to deploy at Old Trafford, may not fit aged players like Cristiano Ronaldo.

With an underperforming United with no prospects of Champions League football next and a new manager, Ronaldo may leave the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, his former club Real Madrid have indicated an interest in landing their former legend.

However, Ralf Rangnick has broken the silence on the rumoured exit of the world’s top football star.

According to Rangnick, he expects Ronaldo to still stay at the club as the Red side of Manchester still needs his services.

Rangnick, who will work with Ten Hag as a sports consultant, is optimistic about Ronaldo’s chances under new manager Erik Ten Hag.

The former Juventus striker and European Cup Winner was said to be out of Ten Hag’s choice players for next season.

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 24 goals for the Red Devils this season. He is currently United’s top scorer for the season.

The Ballon d ‘Or winner is one of the world’s most decorated players, with premier league La Liga and Serie A titles in his kit.
