FT: Inter 4-2 Empoli, Lautaro Martinez Bags BRACE! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Lautaro Martinez scored a brace as Inter Milan beat Empoli 4-2 to move top of table, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

It was a brilliant start for both teams who did well enough going forward looking to make something happen.

The away side set to ball rolling on the 5th minutes which saw Andrea Pinamonti scored a stunner.

That goal gave Empoli a shocking 0-1 lead which came out of nowhere as the encounter carried on.

It wasn’t looking good for Inter Milan who continued pushing forward hoping to make something happen.

The away side scored another goal in the 11th minute but thankfully it was ruled out as offside by VAR.

Kristjan Asllani doubled the advantage for the away side in the 28th minute making the scoreline 0-2 as it progressed.

It was looking over for the home side who had to wait until the 40th minute before scoring one goal back to make it 1-2.

The goal came as a result of an error from Simone Romagnoli who made it 1-2 from an own-goal.

Another goal followed up immediately from Lautaro Martinez in the 45th minute making it 2-2 as they completed the comeback.

That goal sealed the end of 45 minutes which saw Inter Milan finished the first half 2-2 against Empoli.

Second Half Report

It was a good opening in the second half of the encounter which saw both teams picking up where they stopped.

Inter Milan was the better of both teams which saw them taking the lead in the 64th minute through a goal from Laura to Martinez who made it 3-2.

It was a brilliant finish which Empoli couldn’t stop as the game continued further with so much seen from them going forward.

A late one from Alexis Sanchez in the 90th minute plus additional time give his side Inter Milan a 4-2 win again Empoli.
