Frank Lampard saw his side Everton suffer a horrible 5-0 defeat against Tottenham, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Things started poorly for the Toffees who were bad in everything they did in the first half of the encounter.
Tottenham opened the goal scoring in the 14th minute of the match after an own-goal from Michael Keane turned things 1-0 for Spurs.
Everton defending was very bad as another goal was scored in the 17th minute with a good finish from Heung Min Son who was assisted by Dejan Kulusevski to make it 2-0.
Harry Kane completed the first half finishing as he scored the 3rd in the 37th minute from a clinical finish which made the scoreline 3-0.
That was how things played out in the first half which saw Tottenham taking a 3-0 advantage into the break against a poor Everton side who were nothing close to good.
Second Half Report
The second half was more of the same coming from both teams who were no match for each other as the goals kept coming in with so many opportunities.
Tottenham continued from where they stopped as Sergio Reguilon scored in the 46th minute after kickoff in the second half to make things more embarrassing 4-0.
Everton only had a few minutes to rest as they still couldn’t make anything happen for themselves despite the free space that was all over the pitch for them to explore against their opponent.
Harry Kane scored his brace in the 55th minute of the second half which was another brilliant teamwork with assistance from Matt Doherty to make the scoreline 5-0 as it carried on between both of them.
That goal was the last action as the match ended with Tottenham 5-0 Everton which was one of Frank Lampard’s biggest defeats of his career all through managing Derby County and Chelsea.
