Kai Havertz and Timo Werner both scored as Germany beat Israel 2-1 in a friendly match, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was eventful coming from the Germans who made sure they did everything possible to make sure they score more than once.
Israel had it good in the early stages as they carried on making sure they didn’t go down easy as they were the side facing all the pressure on the pitch as the game continued.
Germany had to wait until the 36th minute to score the opening goal of the match after a fine play saw Chelsea man Kai Havertz making it count as the scoreline turned 1-0 in their favor.
The game continued looking good for the home side who had everything working out fine as Timo Werner doubled the advantage in the 45th minute plus additional time to make it 2-0 as it carried on.
That was how the first half of the encounter ended with Germany taking a 2-0 lead into the break after an entertaining 45 minutes of football between both Nations which was good.
Second Half Report
The second half was good as some late drama was seen in the encounter which had the away side doing more than they did in the first 45 minutes.
Solid display coming from Israel as they looked lively in the second half which saw them creating opportunities despite being the side under pressure.
The game carried on with nothing happening until the 89th minute which saw Thomas Muller unable to convert from the penalty spot which could have made it 3-0.
The away side also had there in the 90th minute plus added time, but Yonatan Cohen couldn’t score which could have given them something to celebrate.
The match ended with Germany 2-0 Israel which saw the Germans getting the win after 90 minutes played between both Nations.
