Nigeria’s provisional squad to face Ghana in the 2022 World Cup Play-off has now been confirmed, MySportDab reports.
Interim Coach Augustine Eguavoen has now called up some key Super Eagles players like Ahmed Musa, midfielder Wifred Ndidi and others.
Nigeria’s provisional squad has 32 players for the 2022 World Cup play-off against the Black Stars of Ghana.
Other key players called up include; Maduka Okoye (Goalkeeper) and Daniel Akpeyi.
Defenders like Kenneth Omeruo, Abdullahi Shehu, and Oluwasemilogo Ajayi also make the team.
Key forwards in the squad include Samuel Chukwueze, Victor Osimhen, and Odion Ighalo.
Leicester City player Ademola Lookman has now gotten his first call up since he switched international allegiance to Nigeria from England.
Nigeria also have a seven-man standby squad which includes Taiwo Awoniyi Ogenyi Onazi amongst others.
The Super Eagles camp will open in Abuja on March 21st.
Nigeria will still announce a final 24-man squad list before the two matches.
Nigeria face Ghana on Friday 25th March in the first leg of the World Cup Play-off.
The 2nd leg will be played at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on March 29th.
The winner of the playoffs will automatically qualify for the 22nd FIFA World Cup finals.
