Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has provided the latest injury update ahead of Lille clash, MySportDab reports.

The German has so much update concerning how the whole team has been performing including big one on Romelu Lukaku.

Chelsea are heading into this clash knowing they play at home as they look to continue their quest to retain the UEFA Champions League title.

Chelsea Palmeiras Tuchel

Thomas Tuchel is looking forward to the clash against Lille while serving latest injury updates coming from their camp which isn’t looking that bad.

The manager had some good news about Reece James who is improving very fast and his availability is just a matter of him giving the player go ahead.

FULL THOMAS TUCHEL INJURY UPDATE:

“We try to get them fit for Tuesday. Azpi has some groin problems and felt a pain in the last action of Thursday’s training.

“Callum tried in training on Friday but also felt some pain around the Achilles. It’s a bit of inflammation and the pain was too strong.

The Manager Added On Lukaku Struggle Without Reece James:

“Maybe both. Every style changes with long-term injuries of players. We played majority of games with wing-backs. Two of the key wing-backs – Reece and Chilly – got injured at peak level.

“They have the chance to play this game as underdogs, where they have nothing to lose. We respect the game, opponent, we will prepare the team like we always do. But still we can also play and win with any player.

“This is our job, this is what we try when we have injuries. It’s on us, me to adapt, to find solutions. Romelu will always be part of the solution.”

Chelsea be looking to carry on their back to back wins into the game against Lille which they will be hoping to claim a first leg win to make things easy in their return fixture.
