Marcos Alonso has come out to reveal some shocking news concerning him and Barcelona, MySportDab reports.

The Spain defender who recently gained invitation to National team alongside Cesar Azpilicueta are both linked with a move to Barcelona.

This looks like just an ordinary news but there is more to as Marcos Alonso could have made a switch too to New Camp.

The defender has been one of the most outstanding performer this season for the Blues with Ben Chilwell and Reece James out.

Marcos Alonso role at wing back has so far been double so far this season than it was during the last campaign which he had time to share the position with Ben Chilwell.

The absent of two players has seen the Spain International played more games than usual with Callum Hudson Odoi and Cesar Azpilicueta the only names that can play same position.

So far Marcos Alonso has shown so much quality despite playing more games with Reece James and Ben Chilwell both out injured.

Chelsea didn’t sign any new players and they also did not succeed in their plans to recall Emerson from his loan move with Lyon.

Meanwhile, Alonso could have left Stamford Bridge long time ago which could have put them in jeopardy knowing what the situation is right now.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed the latest coming from the player who made some details known about his decision to join Barcelona.

Here Is What He Said:

Marcos Alonso after Barcelona links: “I have always had interest from other clubs but, to be honest, it was never my intention to leave Chelsea”, @NizaarKinsella reports.

“Why not [stay longer at Chelsea]? For me, I still have another year-and-a-half on my contract”.

Marcos Alonso will be looking to help Chelsea win their first FIFA Club World Cup title as they play against Palmeiras in the final tomorrow Saturday.
