Sevilla have now officially announced the signing of Anthony Martial on loan from Manchester United, MySportDab reports.
The La La Club agreed to pay the Frenchman’s wages but there is no option to buy him permanently at the end of the loan.
A Manchester United statement on the official website read: ‘Manchester United player Anthony Martial has now joined Sevilla on loan until the end of the 2021/22 season.
‘Martial completed a medical in Andalusia, after an agreement between the two clubs for his loan.’
Martial arrived in Spain on Tuesday afternoon to complete his loan transfer.
He took photographs with the club’s badge at Seville Airport on Tuesday.
He later underwent a medical to complete the transfer to join Sevilla.
The 26-year-old told United he wanted to leave and join Sevilla.
There were more offers to sign him from Newcastle and Tottenham.
Sevilla are currently in the La Liga title race and in 2nd place on the table with only 16 matches left.
Martial is delighted for a fresh start after growing frustrated at United.
Sevilla will officially present Martial in a press conference at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium today.
The Frenchman played eleven matches for United this season, scoring one goal since October 2021.
