Manchester United have now rejected goalkeeper Dean Henderson’s January request, MySportDab reports.

Henderson had asked to leave the club on loan in the January transfer window.

Manchester United Coach Ralf Rangnick has now confirmed that he wants Henderson to stay till the summer.

Speaking about Henderson, Rangnick said: ‘Some weeks back he asked me about leaving but I told him I want him to stay until at least the end of the season.

‘We are happy with our goalkeeper options but left for me, I don’t want him to leave.’

Henderson has a contract with Manchester United until 2025.

The English Goalkeeper is ready to leave the club permanently in search of regular football.

David de Gea is now no doubt the club’s No 1 after a stunning performance this season.

Henderson has only started two matches this season and is frustrated about the lack of playing time.

He was told at the start of the season that he was due to be first choice Goalkeeper.

However, he contracted Covid in the second week of Pre-season and could not play for a month.

During that time, David de Gea returned to form and has now started every Premier League match this season.

Tottenham are closely monitoring Henderson’s situation and will try to sign him in the summer as a possible replacement for Hugo Lloris.
