First Half Report

A good start in the first half for Algeria who dominated things all through but couldn’t find a breakthrough despite all their efforts on goal.

Sierra Leone was very good with their defending which helped them so much in a game that saw them soaking in too much pressure coming from the Champions.

The match continued with nothing happening despite everything put in for a goal by the Algerians who had many opportunities of making it count but could not.

It was a busy first-half encounter with the away side for the match also creating some good goal scoring chances which couldn’t hit the target despite not going in.

Nothing changed as the first half of the encounter ended with Algeria 0-0 Sierra Leone after a good 45 minutes of football played between both sides.

Second Half Report

The second half was another hard fought one between both teams who carried on without being able to break down themselves going forward.

Sierra Leone were doing all in their power to ensure nothing went past them in the early minutes of the second half which worked out fine as they approached 50 minutes of the game.

Algeria still had their ball possession working out for them but still couldn’t find a way out of everything as they tried all their possible best with 70 minutes gone.

Nothing was happening with the game on the final 5 minutes of regular left to be played which saw both teams doing everything possible to defend and attack at the same time without a goal.

The match came to an end with Algeria 0-0 Sierra Leone which sees the Champions kick off their title defense with a goalless draw after 90 minutes.
