The 2022 AFCON fixtures, and groups have been confirmed as the tournament kicks off in Cameroon, MySportDab reports.
The last tournament was won by Algeria who are looking to make it back to back from their 2019 victory.
Nigeria will also be looking to make it a 4th for them with them winning the title just 3 times in it’s history as they finished 3rd last time.
All participating Nations are set to go on in the tournament despite the challenges faced with their players respective club who were refusing to release them.
Nigeria is one amongst the top country hit with so much blow as most of their key players won’t be making with them to this year AFCON. Fans did not have to wait long before the 2022 AFCON Fixtures were announced and confirmed by CAF.
So much is expected to go down as we are expecting to get a new winner or see Algeria carry on with their impressive run to make another title in their cabinet.
