A brace from Jennifer Hermoso ensured Barcelona thrashed Arsenal 0-4 in the Women Champions League, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was all about the away side who dominated things going forward in attacking and scoring of goals.
The first 20 minutes of the encounter failed to provide any goals from both ends as they kept it clean at the back despite all the opportunities.
Barcelona took the lead in the 22nd minute of the first half through a goal from Aitana Bonmati which saw things turned 0-1 for the Women from Spain.
The match continued with Arsenal unable to make anything count from all their efforts going forward as Jennifer Hermoso made it 0-2 in the 29th minute of the game.
It was all good for the Laliga side who added another goal late in the 45th minute plus additional time which came through Rolfoe to make the scoreline 0-3 as it carried on.
The first half of the encounter came to an end with Arsenal 0-3 Barcelona as they both headed for the break after a horrible first half performance from the home side.
Second Half Report
The second half wasn’t that bad for the London club who were able to put up a good fight against their opponent who couldn’t stop scoring for fun.
Arsenal held on to things as they did everything possible in making sure the scoreline does not increase with all the pressure coming from their opponent.
Barcelona kept on with their dominance as they pushed aside the team from England who had nothing good to offer as they hit the 60th minute mark in the encounter.
Jenifer Hermoso scored a beauty in the 75th minute of the second half after a good effort from the Spain International made the scoreline more embarrassing 0-4.
The goal was the last as the match ended with Arsenal losing 0-4 against Barcelona who made life hard for them under 90 minutes of football played between both teams.
