Man United and Man City target Erling Haaland has now dropped a transfer hint on his future, MySportDab reports.

After Borussia Dortmund’s win last week against Greuther Furth, Haaland waved to fans like as a goodbye sign.

Dortmund defeated Furth at Signal Iduna Park and Haaland scored two goals in the match.

However, at the end of the match, he was also spotted waving to the Dortmund fans.

Borussia Dortmund sporting director, Michael Zorc has now said that the gesture from Haaland was ‘a bit strange’.

That was also Dortmund’s last home game in 2021 ahead of the Bundesliga winter break.

Now, there is more speculation that Haaland could leave the Bundesliga club in January.

Manchester United and Manchester City are both interested in signing Haaland, who has attracted the attention of Europe’s top club.

Sporting Director, Zorc was asked for his comments on Haaland’s gesture.

“We want to keep. We don’t have to give up on him not for any economic reason,” Zorc said.

“We also know that Erling has the opportunity to leave.”

Haaland’s agent, Mino Raiola, also admitted on Sunday that the player could remain at Dortmund for another season.

“We only want the best and I never ruled out him staying for another year at Dortmund,” Raiola said.

Erling Haaland scored 41 goals in 41 matches for Dortmund last season.

The Norwegian Haaland now has 53 goals in 54 Bundesliga matches, and is  the quickest player in the history of the competition to reach that milestone.
