Lionel Messi was on target as 10-man PSG beat Nantes 3-1 in the French Ligue One, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It wasn’t a not so good first half for Paris Saint Germain despite them getting a goal which wasn’t that easy to come by after all their efforts.
It took PSG 2 minutes to get the opening goal which saw Kylian Mbappe making sure his finishing was perfectly placed beyond the goalkeeper to make it 1-0 with an assist from Paredes.
The game progressed with Nantes also making few opportunities come for them as they failed to make it count on several occasions going forward.
It was looking good for the home side who continued with their dominance while they put up a solid display defending their lead.
The first half ended with PSG taking a narrow 1-0 advantage into the break against Nantes after 45 minutes of football played.
Second Half Report
A good start in the second half for the home side side which was the game creating more opportunities and drama as it carried on.
Nantes were putting so much pressure on the home who didn’t make any mistake in defending well as they lead remain intact in the second half
Keylor Navas was shown a red card in the 65th minute leaving PSG down to 10-man as they carried on with the game making a substitution.
Randal Kolo Muani pulled back level 1-1 for the visitors in the 76th minute of the second half from a clever finish which saw them finding a way back into the match.
An own-goal from Dennis Appiah in the 82nd minute of the match gave the home side a 2-1 lead which helped so much.
Lionel Messi wrapped things off in the 87th minute with an outstanding goal which increased the advantage to 3-1 as they entered into the final few minutes.
The match ended with PSG claiming a good 3-1 win against Nantes to increase their lead on top of the League table.
