Liverpool dismantle Arsenal 4-0 as Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah both scored in a game which was an easy victory for the Reds, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Just one goal separated both teams from each other as the Gunners were unable to make anything happen for themselves going forward.
The first half of the game started with Liverpool controlling things which saw them creating more opportunities against the visiting side.
Arsenal was solid defending as they looked more organized in the back but attacking was very poor with them having nothing to offer.
The game progressed with some drama in the 33rd minute of the game which saw Jurgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta both shown yellow cards by the referee.
The opening goal finally came in the 39th minute through Sadio Mane who made sure his finishing was perfect to make the scoreline 1-0 with an assist coming from Trent Alexander Arnold.
Nothing happened as the first half ended with Liverpool 1-0 Arsenal which saw them heading for the break with the Reds taking the advantage.
Second Half Report
The second half was different from the first 45 minutes which saw more goals coming from the home side who dominated things going forward.
Diogo Jota’s 52nd-minute goal gave Liverpool a 2-0 lead as they continued the encounter making sure the Gunners were no match for them.
Arsenal was unable to still find a way to resolve things at the back as Mohamed Salah scored another one in the 73rd minute to make it 0-3 with Sadio Mane making the assist.
More opportunities were created until another goal in the 77th minute from Takumi Minamino which saw the scoreline increase to 4-0 as they approached the final stages.
The match ended with Liverpool strolling against Arsenal with a 4-0 result to overtake Manchester City in second place on the Premier League table.
