Manchester City has placed their asking price on Raheem Sterling who could be set for Etihad exit in 2022, MySportDab reports.

The England international is frustrated with not getting much game time with Manchester City and is set to move elsewhere.

Arsenal and Barcelona are the two sides who have shown interest in signing Raheem Sterling ahead of the 2022 transfer window.

The player value is currently on a high as he has managed to stay consistent despite not playing so many games.

Real Madrid was also once linked with a move for the forward but later pulled out of negotiations as Manchester City wasn’t looking to sell.

The club’s demands may deter an approach from Barcelona who is seriously considering making a move happen.

Manchester City has set an €80 million price tag on Raheem Sterling, according to claims from Marca.

That valuation is possibly enough to deter an approach from Barcelona who is already making preparations concerning negotiations.

If a club makes an offer in that range, Manchester City would not hesitate to agree to a deal that will see Raheem Sterling leave.

The forward has struggled with getting game time at the Etihad which has been an issue with him as the FIFA World Cup is around the corner.

Teammate Kevin De Bruyne issued a warning to Raheem Sterling over making a move elsewhere.

He Said;

“Rotation is important. Playing four competitions and mostly going far is a tough ask.

“I understand the frustration, I’m a player and you have some players who need more rhythm and maybe Raz needs more, I need that also.

“It’s tough to play one game but it’s the manager who has to make choices and it’s hard.

“We have a group of 22, 23 internationals who are unbelievable. Whoever you pick will be right.

“Whenever the team plays well you can’t say much as a player. We try to help each other.”

The England international isn’t concerned about anything else than getting more game time as he has proven to be the best.

His chances of making the World Cup are slim if he continues to seat out during game time instead of playing.
