Alexander Lacazette score a late goal to help Arsenal escape defeat against Crystal Palace which ended in a 2-2 draw, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the encounter was almost evenly matched between the two sides who had so much to show going forward and defending.
Things started well for Arsenal who took the lead in the 8th minute’s thanks to Aubameyang who ensured his finishing was perfect to make it 1-0.
The game progressed with Crystal Palace doing well enough to secure things at the back while they push forward in attempts to make something happen with more opportunities coming through.
Nothing was able to happen for Patrick Vieira’s side who were still in the game as they dominated the ball possession moving forward with hopes of scoring the equalizer.
The first half continued with nothing else as it finished with Arsenal heading into the break with a 1-0 lead against Crystal Palace who dominated ball possession.
Second Half Report
The second half wasn’t that bad as Patrick Vieira’s turned things around with all their efforts paying off against the Gunners who couldn’t stop them from causing troubles.
It was looking good for Crystal Palace who continues to create more opportunities between the two sides as the game progressed in the second half.
Christian Benteke scored in the 50th minute of the second half to pull his side back 1-1 against Arsenal after an amazing display saw the visitors getting the leveler.
The match carried on with more opportunities until Odsonne Edouard scored in the 73rd minute which saw Patrick Vieira’s side taking a 1-2 lead from an outstanding finish.
Things were looking done and dusted until Alexander Lacazette scored a shocker in the 90th minute plus added time to level things 2-2 for the Gunners who didn’t stop fighting.
The London Derby finally came to an end with Arsenal and Crystal Palace settling for a 2-2 draw which saw the Gunners almost suffering another shocking defeat this season.
